Leo looked at her and asked, concerned, "Hey, you okay?"
Tae-Hyun smiled weakly, "Uh, yeahhh.... Hey, I'll be right back."
"Um... Okay." Leo said, watching Tae-Hyun leave the table.
Tae-Hyun walked quickly to the one-person bathroom. She pushed open the door and locked it behind her.
Tae-Hyun fell to her knees with her arms around her stomach. She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to calm down her nausea.
Tae-Hyun sucked in a breath and let it out slowly. She dreaded the idea of the hike the whole camp had to go on in ten minutes.
Tae-Hyun felt like she had never wanted anything more than to not go on that hike, but she didn't want to tell the counselors. She couldn't tell Leo, either. He would just tell Mary and call attention to Tae-Hyun.
Tae-Hyun got up and leaned on the sink for a few minutes before she made herself go back out into the Mess Hall.
Tae-Hyun stuck close to her friends on the hike.
"How... Hot... Is it... Outside?" She panted.
"84 degrees Fahrenheit." Lester said, looking at his watch, "We've only been out here for twenty minutes and I'm already sweating."
Tae-Hyun closed her eyes tight and kept walking. She would not let Leo find out she was feeling sick or he would freak out.
So, she kept it to herself.
